We offer innovative products that are designed to more quickly match up riders and drivers seeking to take mutual advantage of the available High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes. Our intent is NOT to encourage behavior that violates the long standing informal rules that have made Slugging in the DC area such a success. Our products will help reduce the wait time in line for Drivers & Riders and help create New Slug lines.
RADS accelerate the car pooling process using an elevated visual cue. Distinct destination icons have been developed that will easily identify the intended destination of the driver OR the desired destination of the rider.
The primary component of RADS is a light weight (7" X 4") acrylic sign which can be hand held or easily attached to the roof of the car (while stationary) using the attached rubber coated magnets. Two destination weather resistant vinyl stickers are affixed to indicate the Morning (AM) and Afternoon (PM) destinations. If destinations change on a regular basis the stickers can be easily slipped inside the RADS sign.

The daily match up of willing drivers with available riders, going to the same location, can be frustrating and sometimes time consuming. Riders suffer daily delays in line, often waiting in inclement weather, while negotiating repeatedly for a ride. Drivers routinely stack up in line behind un-moving cars, wasting gas, unable to attract waiting riders.
